Absolutely, thanks for stopping by!
Father God, thank you for the gifts you have instilled in me to teach children, to discern the spirit, to have mercy and empathy on myself and others! Nevertheless, I bind to hell being disappointed in what I can't do easily, like being technical and handy with technical tools. However, I hope and bind my focus to be on what I can learn and where I can grow while binding to hell to focus on what I can't do easily and where I won't grow easily in knowledge and skill, binding to hell oneself to think in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ one can do all by oneself while binding one to know how to cooperate best with the gifts of others, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone thinking to can do all by oneself while lacking to cooperate best with the gifts of others, in accordance with this word and 1 corinthians 12:1-11, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!
This passage from 1 Corinthians is a good one to read during the Season of Epiphany. Corinth: the New York City/Las Vegas of the Bible. Agree or disagree? Feel free to reply.
We do forget that the cities like Corinth and Ephesus were incredibly important cosmopolitan centers in the ancient world like some of our modern city centers. The good news is that the Gospel retains is power in both the ancient world and today!
@@FPCSpiritLake Christmas 1973 (11 years old/6th grade), my beloved aunt & uncle gave me a Bible for Christmas (The Way). In the introduction to Corinthians, there is a picture of the New York City skyline. But then there is a picture of the Bowery, where addicts and drunks and homeless spend the nights in the alleys. Plus add drug dealing and prostitution going on. Both cities had too many people, too many nationalities, and too many religions all crammed into one space. My uncle did many things at my church. He was in the choir, was in the men's group, church council, served on committees, and was also Sunday School Superintendent. And he MADE SURE that every class had a teacher. And if he needed you to teach, he was someone that you didn't say no too.
@@mkl62 It sounds like your family were wonderful role models in the faith!
Thank you !
