| oh, I'm glad people like Kaya, no-one who reads the manga seems to like her, but I've always loved her. I've always thought of her as a deconstruction of the whole tsundere archetype... EIJIIIIIIIII I'm getting used to the pacing, I think, but it's still no-where near the quality of the manga. But I'm enjoying it more now. |
| It was great seeing that punch again. Aaaand the only actual part about this episode worth commenting on, Takagi's excuse for not having to chose either Iwase or Miyoshi. Which was pretty awesome. Actually, the whole part at Takagi's home was hilarious. Also, Nizuma Eiji. He's mentally retarded, isn't he? >.> |

| my feelings after watching this episode: blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I like this show but GOD it moves so slowly. The dialogue is even good too! Like when they're passing notes, the teacher conversation, hilarious. But at the end of the episode I thought about what happened and realized that it was basically the span of 36 hours, which is a lot in an action show but absolute torture in one that's more slice of life. What I've gleaned from comments regarding the manga is that this is only one chapter's worth of plot, and if that means there aren't any bad filler episodes later on, then I guess I'm glad. But seriously, even though there were lots of fun parts and great character development, it was just way too slow for me... here's hoping things pick up next week EDIT: Omg I forgot to mention that I actually really like Iwase and I hope she finds another smart man to shower with affection. I'm also a little worried that she'll go crazy but that is probably because I just watched school days |

| Eiji staring at the bird then going nuts was the highlight of the episode. Couldn't stop laughing, actually watched that scene 2-3 times because it was so funny. |

| This episode made my laugh alot :D I guess it's Takagi's lucky day xD and didn't know that Iwasa had feeling for him.I thought she always thought of him as rival. And Eiji & those sounds he makes is LOL I want more of Eiji.He's interesting. |

| LOL! Takagi had a lady's man day. That Iwasa girl may have liked him but she looks more like she's looking for some future to be rich guy instead of just a person to love. I do feel kind of sorry for her though because i feel like she's so uptight because her family must be one those annoying uptight strict family's that live in there own little world of how things "should be". I got the feeling she was kind of crying not only because she lost Takagi but because she felt kind of sad about herself not being able to live life with the passion that Takagi had in his eyes. Eiji seems to try a little too hard to play the role of the unconventional and eccentric artist. |
| Shujin did a good job handling his relationship issues there.. hmmm, looks like Kaya became more likable this episode. looking forward to ShujinxKaya interactions in the coming episodes.. Still, i kinda feel sad that Iwase got rejected, I'm interested in her character the first time I saw her and I think it would also be interesting if she and Shujin ended up dating.. too bad their ideals don't match up.. :( Also, Kaya vs Iwase fight for Shujin really reminds me of Misa vs Kiyomi.. Saiko's grandad is cool in a way I never expected from the first time I saw him, I thought he's just going to be a decoration all throughout the show.. XD haha, Eiji's epic noises and crazy antics strikes again, can't wait for Saiko and Shujin to meet him.. and what's with the crow?? perhaps he got an idea for his manga or something, hope we get a peek of one of his manga like they did with Saiko and Shujin's "Two Earths".. now that Kaya knows about SaikoxMiho, wonder how Miho would look like once Kaya tells her she knows.. :D |

| Takagi! Yayyy! Gosh, the faces and his reactions were SO funny XD I like Iwase though ... awww >_< Kaya is OK too but not as cool as Iwase :P Oh you and your cluelessness ... XD That being said, having Kaya beat him up was kind of ... weird ... O_O Next episode looks cool too ... is it finally starting to pick up?! :O Prediction: Eiji will be in the same school as them ... :O |

I was really looking forward for this part to be animated - 4 of them in his home, and Miyoshi beating Takagi to death *Takagi bragging about the holding hands to Mashiro lol Love this line: "...but I don't want to regret not pursuing it in the 1st place" but this anime seems so serious about being liked.. not even close to love |

| Seeing so many complain about the pacing compared to the manga, I'm really glad that I haven't read the manga yet. ^-^; Can't deny it's slow, but to me the pacing feels just fine - it's simply realistically paced as a slice-of-life is. Takagi... I could already relate to him so well till now, but now it's become painfully obvious I've gotten myself in similar situations ^_^; I'm glad there's a character *not* happy with being popular, because it's not that enjoyable in reality as in theory. It also reminded me I still have to recieve my personal "3 punches of a good friend"... ahaha~ x_X |

If there is only 25 episodes, the series will not get very far at all. :( I personally would like to see the more current manga chapters as an anime. |

| He made a real good point though. That's not the style you would use for a kids manga magazine. Too complex for them to follow and it has those Fist of the North Star butch type of men. |
| Eiji's a funny little manga savant... hopefully next episode he plays a bigger part then just cameo-ing at the end. |
