Hello, and welcome to my commission general info sheet!
Here you will find most of the necessary info required to commission me, as well as my terms and conditions.
Be sure to check this sheet often, as the info here will almost certainly change over time.

Q: What services are you offering?
I am offering my skills as a writer/author. I mostly write short stories, but can also write stories of a longer length (although it will take longer and may have to be broken up into chapters if that's the case), detailed descriptions of characters/settings, and fictional marketing/publicity blurbs.

Q: What kind of info will I need to provide?
CHARACTERS: Give me a list of characters that will be in the story, along with the necessary details (appearance, species, personality, history, etc.) If it's an OC, be sure to link a refsheet of sorts.
SETTING: The time and place of the story. Again, if it's a fictional setting, be sure to give details and link to resources with said details.
THEMES: What events will take place in the story? What do/don't you want to see happen? It can be a detailed plot outline or an unordered list of events.
As a general rule of thumb, the more detailed, the better. If you don't/can't provide many details, I will fill them in to the best of my ability.

Q: Can I use OCs/copyrighted content?
This should go without saying, but make sure that you have permission to use the characters/settings in the story. If you're using OCs, make sure they're yours. If they're not, make sure you have permission from their creators to use them. I'm not opposed to using copyrighted characters/settings so yes, I can also write fanfic. Although, if it's about a character/IP I'm unfamiliar with, I'll have to take extra time to research and familiarize myself with said IP.

Q: Do you write NSFW/adult content?
Yes, I do write NSFW content as well as SFW content. Keep in mind, however, that I may charge extra or flat-out refuse to write about some topics. I'll go over those in more detail below.

Q: How much do you charge for your services?
My prices will most likely change over time, so check this sheet often for changes in prices and terms.
Right now, I charge a flat rate of $0.03 per word, or $15 for roughly one page's worth (500 words).

Q: What's the process?
First, you'll tell me your budget and what you want to see in this story. Based on this info, I'll determine whether or not I can write it for you and add your commission to my queue.
I'll write up a rough plot outline based on the info, and once you're satisfied with it, I will ask for you to pay half of the total cost upfront so that I can get started.
Make sure that any changes you want to make to the story are made before I begin drafting in order to ensure that it's finished as quickly and smoothly as possible.
When I am finished with the first draft, I will ask for the remainder of the cost to be paid, then send you a copy of it.

Q: Where can I check my progress/position in the queue?
Eventually, I'll set up a Trello board showing commission status and details. For now, you can just ask me how your commission is coming along.

Q: What about revisions? Will those cost extra?
If you need some small parts of the story rewritten (for example, changing, adding or removing around some minor details of scenes), then I will make those changes free of charge.
For changing or adding broader details that will involve rewriting significant portions of the story, I will offer to make one such revision free of charge. For each subsequent revision, I will charge based on how much I may need to rewrite.
If I get any details about the character, settings or plot wrong, I will rectify these mistakes free of charge as long as you ask nicely.

Q: Will these stories be posted publicly?
By default, yes. However, if you don't want your commissioned story to be posted for whatever reason, let me know and I will send you a PDF of the story instead.

Q: Can I share these stories with other people?
Of course! As long as you make sure to credit the original author i.e. me.

Q: What should I NOT do as a client/customer?

First and foremost, don't be a dick. If I'm doing something wrong or you're unsatisfied with my work, feel free to let me know, but do not go about attacking me ad hominem.
Don't commission that which you can't afford immediately. If you've already paid the first half, but can't or won't pay the second half, you will not see the draft until I get paid.
Don't be an art thief. If you are seen taking credit for my or other people's work, you WILL be called out and placed on my commission blacklist.
Don't ask for free stories/art. I am offering my writing skills as a service that I intend to be paid for or reimbursed somehow. I may be willing to write something for you in return for a favor, but otherwise... No.

Q: So, what exactly won't you write?
SFW:

Slanderous/libelous content. I won't write anything that is defamatory towards a person or group.
Political propaganda. I'm willing to write fictional propaganda about fictional groups/organizations in your story, and even some fictionalized version of real-world groups, but I'd rather not get involved in real-world politics.

NSFW (Kinks/fetishes):

Diaper
Scat/vomit/any other sort of biological waste
Extreme gore (Robot gore is okay, though)
Pedophilia

Keep in mind this is not an exhaustive list, and will most likely grow as time goes on.
